As I wrote a while back, my other comic As the Grass Grows is back and going strong (big thanks to everyone who checked it out – if you haven’t yet, now’s a great time). It took me a little more effort than I thought to get that up and running and, as expected, the update schedule of Sector Four has suffered. It was my intention to get back to a (semi)weekly schedule when things calmed down, however that obviously hasn’t happened. I apoligize again for the lack up updates, but as I wrote previously, I’d rather have a sporadic schedule than try to rush the pages just for the sake of posting every week… I just didn’t expect to go this long between posts. Some other things have come up since that have taken big chunks of my time, but I’m working hard to get things back on track and I’m in no way abandoning this comic. I have a blast doing it – it just takes me way longer to do a page of Sector Four than it does an AtGG strip.

So anyway, here’s the plan… I just completed a final rewrite of the rest of chapter 2, which will close out book one. I’ve added two pages to help the pacing so at the time of this writing, there are 9 pages left. When that wraps up, Sector Four will go on hiatus while I finish up some other projects and get a good jump on book two. There will be a collection… I’m still in the early process of figuring out the best approach for that but this is a story that is best read together in one volume so it’s been the plan for a while to collect it into a physical and digital book. It’ll probably be a few months before book two begins being posted online because I’d like to make sure to plan some things out and get a nice jump on production before it gets out there so I don’t get into the situation of letting anyone down that wants to read it page by page online.

I want to, again, thank everyone for the support and patience as I come down the stretch for book one and begin planning out future stories in Sector Four.
